In Fall 2021, our founders, Devang Bhatt and Sheik Shakoor, embarked on an artistic journey. Devang, a skilled sketch artist and a Senior MarTech Product Manager at Amazon, collaborated with Sheik, the President of Arctix, a global apparel brand, united by their shared love for creativity.
As they traveled the world, they encountered numerous talented artists struggling for visibility and recognition despite their exceptional skills. They also observed several ancient art forms, passed down through generations for thousands of years, on the verge of extinction despite their potential to captivate a global audience. Recognizing this gap in the art market, they set out to create Gallerie - a platform that would empower artists like never before and provide a global stage for hidden gems to shine.
